DOUBLE GNARLY / TRIPLE SUICIDE

Yeah we have a few shows coming up that will be fun. All info is in the "shows" section but here are some fliers. The November 13 and 14 shows will be record release shows for our split 7" with Locrian. The Hewhocorrupts label was nice enough to put it out, so of course, it will be sweet. We are finishing up recording and also planning many shows for the summer. We have a cool FREE show June 27 at Cobra Lounge in Chicago with Angel Eyes, Year of the Pig, and Lone Wolf and Cub.

We're also pleased to announce that a summer tour is booked starting July 10 and ending July 17. Those tour dates will be posted within the coming week but it is important to note that the only local show of tour will be the first one, July 10th. It will be at The House Cafe in Dekalb, Il with Sunn0))) and Eaglesun. Look for details for the other shows soon.

Well, we have a lot coming up. Many shows listed in the "Shows" section. They should be pretty cool so check it out. Other than that we're gonna try to write some new songs so wish us luck, inspiration, momentum, versatility,  and distinctive sounds.

Hey y'all, we've got some shit to say.

First of all we're proud to announce that for the first time Harpoon will feature bass. DJ Barraca will be joining us in our quest for volume and speed. This quickly brings us to our 2nd POI (point of interest).

We have a new show posted for October 18th and this will be our first show with DJ. We're playing with our old pals Hewhocorrupts, as well as some new bands called Sirvixx, Morbid Obesity and Addxm. Should be fun! More info posted in the "Shows" section.

Lastly, we are excited to have a new release titled "Double Gnarly / Triple Suicide" -- the perfect metaphor for a band transitioning from 2 to 3 members. It will be available as both a CD and LP and is being released by Interloper Records. Expect a early or mid December release date.

Final master of the Harpoon 9 song CD should be done any day now. Expect those at some future shows. We will start playing again in a little. It will be really fun!

Tour was a blast! Thanks to everyone who helped us with shows or gave us a place to stay or made us smile or bought something. It was hotter than shit (usually between 95 and 105, WTF?) but friends from all over took care of us and for that we are grateful.

Also our 9 song debut CD should be done soon. It will be mastered by Scott Hull sometime in the near future and will come out to kick you in the teeth. Watch your mouth!
